There are two Greensand schools located in the Horley area:
Horley Infant School (age 4-7)
Yattendon (Junior) School (age 7-11)
Together, these are the local Greensand schools offering excellent primary education in the Horley area.
The vast majority of pupils transition from Horley Infants to Yattendon but due to families moving away from the area, there are sometimes a small handful of spaces for other children to start at Yattendon in Year 3. Pupils from other infant schools due to start junior school, or other primary schools who are seeking an alternative for Year 3 entry, or families moving into the area, are always welcome to visit the school and apply for a place.
Horley Infants is a 'feeder' school for Yattendon (Junior) School, meaning that if oversubscribed, pupils at Horley Infants are given priority places at Yattendon School as they are ranked higher than the 'any other children' category (which is solely based on proximity of the child's home address to the school).
