Listening, learning and stepping into greatness together

At Greensand, we believe that every child is best supported when schools, families and staff work in genuine partnership. Listening to the voices of our communities is a vital part of that commitment and of creating a culture in which people feel heard, valued and empowered to help shape the future.

Over the past year, hundreds of parents and colleagues have taken the time to share their experiences through our Trust-wide surveys. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated. Their feedback helps us understand what we are doing well, where we can improve and how we can continue creating schools where children, staff and families can flourish.

This year, 782 parents and 482 staff members shared their views. The responses provide a valuable insight into life across our schools and demonstrate the strength of engagement within our communities.

There is much to celebrate. Parent satisfaction across Greensand was above national benchmarks in every survey area, with parents highlighting:

  • the accessibility of schools
  • the quality of communication
  • support for pupils
  • the confidence they have in our staff.

Staff survey responses also identified significant strengths, including:

  • positive relationships
  • strong levels of support
  • job satisfaction
  • pride in our schools.

As a family of schools, we are committed to learning from one another, sharing effective practice and continually improving so that every member of our community can thrive. That spirit of collaboration lies at the heart of our mission and our commitment to helping every child and every colleague to step into their greatness.

A huge thank you to every parent, carer and member of staff who took the time to participate. Our commitment is not simply to listen, but to act. Through our developing “You Said, We Will” approach across the Trust, we want parents and staff to see clearly how their feedback informs decisions, priorities and improvements. By listening to one another, learning together and acting on feedback, we continue to strengthen our schools and create the very best opportunities for the children and young people we serve.

By gathering, providing and listening to feedback, together we help every child and member of staff to step into their greatness.
