    This fortnight we return to the strand of Quality of Instruction from the Greensand PACE model. Towards the start of last year, we put out a piece by teacher, speaker and author, Sarah Cottingham, about students making sense of new knowledge in light of what they already know. Cottingham also drew upon the work of David Ausubel's Meaningful Learning Theory in this piece. This week, we return to her writings to further embed this concept where once again, she investigates how this theory can help us in our everyday teaching.
