Marc Rowland is one of the foremost writers in education on making an impact on outcomes for vulnerable and hard-to-reach students. Across much of his work, he repeatedly states that the most effective interventions for such students are relational rather than structural. In this piece, he gives a wide range of examples of how this could look - referring to them as 'a thousand little moments' for these students.
