Examples during explanations

Wishing you all a very happy new year! This weeks' blog of the week sees a return to the strand of the Greensands PACE model which we visited just before Christmas - the Science of Learning. 

This week's offering comes from author, speaker and Director of Education at StepLab, Peps McCrea. In his piece, Peps discusses the use of examples during our explanations, drawing on why it's important to know what to leave out as much as what to leave in, along with the correct sequence in which to present them, in order to maximise understanding and meaning for our students.
